Castor Vali is looking for new talents to join our service delivery team at our establishment in Nigeria, in the Security Operations Department. The role requires experience in control room operations, Journey Management, Maritime Security, emergency response, field security support activities, hence the role suits someone who has worked in an operations room on a shift pattern and field assignment seasonally. Experience in risk mitigation and basic investigation would be preferable.
Qualifications, Experience and Qualities:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in commercial security field within the private sector.
- A certificate qualification in security training or related fields e.g., risk, investigation and criminology are desirable.
- A good working knowledge of Government and security agencies.
- Good understanding of Journey Management and close protection
- Understanding of maritime security, tracking and coordination
- Strong analytical skills in security operations and emergency response.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills allowing effective trust relationships.
- Ability to produce timely, accurate, detailed, and concise written and verbal reports and reviews.

Junior Analyst – Security Information Services, Nigeria
We are looking for highly motivated candidates to join our growing Security Information Services (SIS) department in Nigeria. The SIS department produces subscription-based and ad hoc assessments to provide our clients in West Africa and the Sahel with a comprehensive understanding of the political and security environments in which they operate. These products include dailies, alerts, weeklies, and monthlies as part of country packages, as well as bespoke reporting such as journey threat assessments and security risk assessments as part of ad hoc assessments.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- A postgraduate qualification and a strong academic record, averaging 65 percent and above in a relevant degree – such as political science, international relations, intelligence, criminal investigations, or strategic studies etc.
- Impeccable research, writing and analytical skills. Applicants should be able to show that they have worked on political or security issues in Africa (either as part of their degree or as part of work experience).
- Excellent communication skills.
- A can-do and positive attitude.
- Fluency in French is desirable.
