At Castor Vali, we recognise that robust and effective community engagement initiatives are fundamental to our mission. Since our inception, fostering strong relationships within our communities has been essential, benefiting our clients and reinforcing our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
This deep-rooted understanding shapes our ethos and drives our continuous efforts to make a positive impact. Through our active involvement in community initiatives, we strive to build trust, foster collaboration, and contribute to the regions in which we operate. This commitment extends to our support for local charities in Nigeria.
Small World Annual Event
Since its inception in 1993, Small World, an International Women’s Organisation for Charity, has been dedicated to streamlining charitable efforts and ensuring that selected philanthropic organisations in Nigeria receive adequate support. On March 2nd, 2024, the annual Small World event took place with representatives from over 27 countries coming together to celebrate diverse cultures through performance, dance, food, and music. The event also aimed to raise funds and an impressive N74 million (USD 53,500) was collected. You can view the full gallery of images from the event here.
CVSN’s Contribution
CVSN played a pivotal role in ensuring the event’s success by donating our support services. Entrusted as the lead security coordinator, Castor Vali collaborated with various government agencies, including the Department of State Services (DSS), Bomb Squad, Mobile Police Force (Mopol), Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), Lagos State Safety Commission, International SOS, and Anti-Terrorism units. With over 2500 attendees, the prioritisation of security and safety was paramount.
We would like to thank the members of the CVSN team who were instrumental in making the event a success. Their dedication and expertise ensured that attendees could immerse themselves in the festivities without compromising safety, helping to make the event a success.
